PT Technical Sales Associate

About the Opportunity:

We’re currently looking for someone who is interested in long-range career growth within our Technical Sales Department. Sales experience is required, and technical sale experience preferred. We will provide on-the-job training on our products and services. PowerPlus offers a unique environment that fosters individual growth and rewards performance. Everyone here wears many hats and gets exposed to a variety of challenges. You will NOT be doing any cold calling but will be processing existing leads and interacting with current customers. As a Technical Sales Associate, you will be driving profitable growth and revenue for the company by helping our customers stay ahead of their competition with the latest cleaning technologies and training. You will also be providing them with a wide and immediate selection of products and critical services. 

This is a PART-TIME position with some overtime required initially for

training.

Hours are:

Tuesday, 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

Wednesday and Thursday are 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

One Saturday per month 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

Qualifications:

• Are articulate and effective communicator.
• Can adeptly explain features, benefits, and technical aspects of our full product line once you are trained.
• Promote excellence by providing superior service to each customer.
• Take initiative and pursue opportunities. Consistently seek to identify new sources of business.
• Focus the sales effort around identifying and fulfilling customers' current and future needs.
• Inspire others with your drive and motivation to sell by helping customers grow and increase their profits.
• Highschool diploma or equivalent experience. Some college preferred.
• Knowledge of Office Suite (Word and Excel) required.
• Experience with ACT software is desired but will train.
• Up to 40 hours per week during normal business hours between 8:00am-5:00pm M-F.

 

Salary:

$20.00/hour

9% commission and a flat $1500. Any Overtime will be paid at

time and a half.

• Maintain older Windows Server SB 2003 system and migrate to a current server and platform.
• Preproduction and planning of existing and future network needs
• Develop strategies to minimize the security risks of this older system and to transition to our newer system.
• Trouble shoot connectivity issues related to software ACT and PeachTree.
